> How to take care of my jewel?
A precious jewel must be treated with the greatest care. To preserve its brilliance and durability, it is advisable to respect certain gestures and to avoid others:
- Protect them from any shock by avoiding wearing them in risky situations.
- Remove your jewelry in the shower, bath, swimming pool or sea, and when exercising.
- Avoid spraying perfumes, applying creams directly on the jewel or exposing it to chemicals and detergents.
- Keep jewelry away from extreme temperatures or moisture.
- Store jewelry when not in use, separately in its original Amélie Viaene case or in a soft pouch.
- Clean them only and very gently with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water. Wipe them carefully with a soft tissue.
Handcrafting, delivery and return

Amélie Viaene creates and handcrafts each of her jewelry pieces in her Parisian workshop-boutique. To learn more about her know-how, you can find all the details in the section About.
Only the unique pieces offered for sale are available immediately. Other jewelry must be ordered and there is a delay in the handcrafting process and the search for stones.
After placing an order for an available piece of jewelry, the delivery time may vary between 3 and 5 business days, except in special circumstances.
In the case where the jewel must be ordered, the handcrafting and delivery time can vary from 3 to 8 weeks depending on the type of jewel.

Amélie Viaene offers you a free, international and secure delivery.
The price indicated for the orders out of the eurozone are indicated without taxes. The taxes related to the reception of the order are the responsibility of the buyer.
Amélie Viaene reserves the right not to accept a delivery in certain zones where the access would be difficult and to apply rates of delivery.
> Returns and Exchanges
Amélie Viaene is committed to exchange or refund your jewelry order. She will accompany you in this procedure.
The return shipping costs are at your charge, with the same shipping provider as the one of the reception.
The jewels having been personalized on request or created to measure as well as the rings having been put in size, can neither be exchanged, nor be the subject of a refund.
You have 14 days after the reception of your purchase to notify Amélie Viaene of your wish to return or exchange your jewel. The use of the right of retractation must be announced by email to the address firstname.lastname@example.org by filling a standard form of retractation. In case you need a longer delay, you can inform Amélie Viaene at the time of your order. She will study with you on a personalized delay.
Once your request is validated, the items must be returned within 14 days. Please include all original items in your return package, including the invoice, packaging, accessories, creation(s). A secure carrier will come to your home to pick it up.
Once your return package is received, a return confirmation email will be sent to you after confirming the eligibility of the return or exchange.
The jewel must be in perfect condition and not have been worn, damaged or soiled. Amélie Viaene reserves the right to refuse any return in case of damage or other signs of use.
Sizing is available on some models. The first sizing is offered within 14 days of receiving your order. Any additional sizing will be offered upon request.
The return of a jewel for sizing is done under the same conditions as a return for exchange or refund. You are responsible for the return shipping costs, using the same shipping company as for the reception.

Amélie Viaene offers a two-year warranty from the date of purchase upon presentation of the invoice. This one covers only the manufacturing defects or the hidden defects.
The repair will be subject to an estimate if it is a damage resulting from a misuse.
If the return of the jewel is due to a manufacturing defect, it will be done at our expense. Otherwise, the return of a jewel for repair will be done under the same conditions as a return for exchange or refund. The return costs are at your charge, with the same shipping provider as the one of the reception.
